Klimaattop zinvol?
Is de klimaattop zinvol?
De economische belangen winnen toch.
Zo eenvoudig is het.
De klimaat-toppers in Kopenhagen en Mexico hebben dat héél duidelijk gemaakt.
En trouwens, Deens wetenschappelijk onderzoek heeft al jaren geleden aangetoond hoe het 'grote' CO2 probleem eenvoudig opgelost kan worden. Uit dat onderzoek bleek namelijk dat planten bij 30 C, maar liefst 6x zoveel CO2 opnemen, dan dat bij 20C het geval is. (zie afbeelding).
M.a.w. strooi een paar zakken kastanjes en beukennootjes, en het grote probleem is opgelost...
Misschien wordt het tijd dat het werkelijke (klimaat)probleem wordt besproken...
Dat zijn wij...
Met iedere meter die de klimaatspecialisten reizen, om deel te nemen aan deze nieuwe klimaattopper, wordt het klimaatprobleem vergroot... (Tenzij ze uiteraard werkelijk duurzaam reizen)
100 jaar geleden verschenen de eerste auto's en vliegtuigen...

Life is Great
Our world.
With a positive feeling you start the day. You donate a dollar to a fund that protests against oildrilling under the North-Pole, on your way to the airport.
In the plane you meet other scientists, and while flying to the other side of the world, you exchange views, and discuss solutions for the global warming.
At your destination, you check into the hotel, a beach resort, that is fully booked because of the global climate conference; that you attend.
All goes as plannend, after three days the conference is over, and while you finally get your well deserved rest near the swimming-pool, you read in a magazine about early booking discount for a sailing trip around a green North Pole. With a bit of luck in a couple of years from now!
You are thrilled! You can be one of the first to witness this! You decide to book. After all, as a professional you must see it...
Facts do not cease to exist, because they are ignored.
100 years ago we hardly used oil. The first cars and planes appeared. And now?
WE use every day 100 million barrels of oil.
100 year ago the global population reached 1 billion, 50 years ago it passed 3 billion, now it is 8 billion... and in 50 or 100 years?
In the last hundred years a lot has changed... We experienced the absolute top of the homo sapiens. And now we witness the decline of the homo sapiens. The rise and fall.
Actually, 99% of all species that ever lived on Earth are now gone...
We owe our existence because we can think; wake up!! It is time we evolve!
Let's think different.
Let us start by the fact that we don't even know what the universe is. Or why the universe
is. It is. So are we.
And we are here. We call it 'planet Earth'. When I compare 'planet Earth' with the thousands of other planets surrounding us, I think we are experiencing a cosmic paradise.
And we can it make it Heaven or Hell.
It is up to us!

The news is shocking; 30 C in Lapland.
The Northpole melts much faster than expected
What can we do?
